Harmonies in the Hills
烟云琴韵
Chinese Ink on Rice Paper / 宣纸水墨画
95 x 180 cm

烟云琴韵, transports the viewer into a poetic landscape where mist, mountain peaks, and ancient melodies merge into one harmonious vision. Rendered with elegant brushwork and a sense of lyrical movement, the painting captures both the majesty of nature and the quiet resonance of the GuQin (Chinese Zither).

免问身缘何处山,奇峰破云达青天,鹤鸣一声林泉远,笔底生机尽盎然。
“No need to ask where the soul belongs—among these mountains. Strange peaks pierce the clouds, reaching into the azure sky. A single crane call echoes through the forest and springs afar; from the tip of the brush, life and vitality overflow.”

The scene is a meditation on solitude, spirit, and the eternal rhythm of nature. As clouds swirl among the peaks and the call of a crane rings through the woods, the painting invites viewers into a world where music, mist, and brushwork breathe as one.
